Currently I'm working as a Marine Surveyor. I’ve been carrying out different types of marine surveys on ships and barges calling at Port Metro Vancouver. I formerly served as a deck officer on board a variety of ships including general cargo vessels, ro/ro & passenger vessels, oil/product and chemical tankers, and gas carriers.



In October 2007, I graduated with a Master of Science degree specializing in Maritime Affairs from the World Maritime University, Malmö (Sweden), a centre of excellence and IMO's apex institution for high-level maritime education and research. I am also a holder of a Bachelor degree as a Dual Purpose (Deck & Engine) Marine Engineer.



Over the past years of my educational and professional career I acquired considerable knowledge and experience in the shipping industry both on the technical and operational aspects. Throughout this period, I also gained, exercised and developed organizational skills, teamwork skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as clear and concise communication skills (I'm fully fluent in English and French). I offer a solid background in ship operation and management coupled with a strong work ethic and professional attitude, as well as a proven willingness to accept challenges and responsibility.
